The Team’s commitment to excellence characterizes the legacy of Groschopp’s culture, and motivates each member to carry on that tradition in our products and services. As a company centered on family values, Connie, John and the Leadership Team continue to practice the same traditional values of quality, integrity, and reliability since Groschopp’s founding more than 90 years ago.
Connie Vander Ploeg
As President with over 40 years of experience at Groschopp, Connie leads the company’s direction in development and growth initiatives. Connie’s educational background with a degree in Accounting, combined with her experience in Manufacturing ultimately led to her prior position as VP Administration overseeing Human Resources, Accounting, Procurement, Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing. Connie believes that trust is a powerful force that builds loyalty, increases credibility, and supports effective communications both internally as well as externally.
John Feldhacker
John serves as Vice President and leads Groschopp’s Sales & Marketing and Quality Assurance departments. John joined Groschopp in 2009 as a design engineer, but his analytical background and familiarity with test systems and quality control methods led him to a quality engineer position. John later took on the responsibilities of Quality Assurance Manager and Product Development Manager before advancing to his current leadership role. John is a firm believer that leadership is a daily practice and is essential at all levels of an organization. Strong communication, an openness to differing perspectives, and a passion for finding solutions drives our success.
HISTORY
Today, our dedicated team of employees continues to build our motors in-house. We strive to provide the best possible experience we can for our customers and work alongside them to find the best solution to their individual situation. By using our proprietary software program, MOTORTEC™, we can create drawings, models and performance data charts for 100,000 possible motor or gearmotor combinations in just minutes to ensure the best fit for nearly any situation.
