Do you like to work with your hands or figure out how things work? If so, this may be a perfect opportunity for you! These are light assembly positions which require no previous training, just the desire to learn. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated with a strong regard for quality and the desire to work in a climate-controlled, team environment. 1st and 2nd shifts available.
Maintenance Set-Up Technician
This position is a “hands-on” position with the ability to make tooling changes and machine adjustments on production equipment, perform minor repair and maintenance on manufacturing equipment and perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Entry level position with the opportunity for growth. Entry-level and experienced technicians encouraged to apply. Mechanical aptitude required. Electrical/electronic experience beneficial.
Quality Assurance Technician (Shift 2)
This individual will be able to interpret prints, specifications, recognize critical and non-critical features and evaluate nonconformities. Responsibilities also include understanding and adhering to documented gauging and measuring methodology. Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are additional attributes desired. Previous experience in a quality assurance environment is preferred. Groschopp’s 2nd shift hours are Monday-Friday 3:30p-11:30p.
This position is responsible for building and testing prototype motors and motor parts for new and modified designs, insuring a clean and organized lab area and keeping all equipment in proper operational condition. Collecting and maintaining test data in an organized manner for easy access is a vital component to this position. Above average communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Special skills required are being adept in problem solving and being mechanically inclined. A two-year degree in Electrical Mechanical Technology or equivalent education and/or experience is required.
This individual is responsible for creating technical and engineering drawings on all stages of development and design of prototypes and new products. Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is preferred.
