How do I use the Product Lookup tool?

Utilizing the motor label, the Model Number can be used to search within the “Find by Model Number” search field. Alternatively, the Part Number (P/N) can be used to search within the “Find by Product # (SKU)” search field. The Part Number may consist of a 4-digit (####) or 5-digit (#####) sequence, which represents our standard catalog designs, or an 8-digit (####-####) or 9-digit (###-##-####) sequence, which represents a proprietary product developed for a specific Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customer.

Why isn’t my motor showing up?

We are an OEM fractional horsepower motor manufacturer. Many of the products we offer are custom-designed and built specifically for each OEM. If you have any questions about a motor you have, feel free to contact us at sales@groschopp.com or 800-829-4135.

Why can’t I find WK or NR part numbers on Groschopp’s website?

WK and NR part numbers reference Groschopp AG (Germany) motors. Although we have the same Groschopp name, we are completely different companies and do not manufacture compatible motors. Check out our blog article for more questions about our motors compared to Groschopp AG motors.

When I enter a model number, why do multiple motors show up?

Multiple motors options may be associated with the same model number due to variations such as speed, torque, and power. Care should be taken to select the option that best matches your application requirements. If you need help confirming the right specifications, contact us at sales@groschopp.com or 800-829-4135.

Can I search by serial number?

Currently, searching by serial number is unavailable. All products on our website are listed by catalog number.

What if I want to search by speed, torque, or power?

How to use the Motor Search Tool

Narrow your search by selecting motor type, gearbox, voltage, and phase options for your desired motor.

Select a dominant variable: choose one of the three parameters to narrow your search. The selected variable determines which slider bar you will be able to manually move.

Use the slider corresponding to your dominant variable to further narrow your motor selection. The other sliders will automatically move to show available ranges based on the range of your selected variable.

Results will upload as your search criteria changes. If you have any questions regarding your results or how to use the search tool, you can chat with us using the green tab on the left-hand side of your screen.

Note: Groschopp Universal motors are custom built to fit your application so no additional options are available to narrow the search. Selecting the Universal motor type will prompt a message taking you to the Universal product page.
