The Accounting Assistant will support our accounting team with a variety of financial and administrative tasks. They will work closely with the accounting team to support daily accounting operations and gain exposure to core accounting processes used in a manufacturing environment.
The Regional Sales Representative will build rapport with customers and assist them with current and future project needs. This individual will work with a team to tackle new projects, follow up with sales inquiries, and manage customer data. Some travel is required for customer visits and trade shows roughly 5-10% of the time. It is essential for this regional sales rep to have high strong communication skills and a customer focused mindset.

Groschopp’s 1st shift hours are M-F 7:00a – 3:30p and 2nd shift hours are M-F 3:30p-11:30p. There are overtime opportunities depending on workload. We work in a comfortable, climate-controlled setting year-round! Our Machining Operators perform set-ups, edit programs and operate a variety of CNC machines to produce parts to specified dimensions. Do you have mechanical aptitude? Are you a stickler for detail? Our employees need to have the skills to read and understand prints, layouts, and written instructions; Machine operator experience and mechanical aptitude are beneficial but we’ll train the right person! Good indicators for being a successful applicant: dependability, above-average math skills, good problem-solving ability, mechanical aptitude.
Applicants must have at least one year of experience in various areas in the manufacturing or warehouse environment. Good skills in verbal/written communications and interpersonal relationships is necessary, and applicants must be able to accept criticism and be receptive to opposing or alternative points of view. This person will work in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment, and must be able to work without direct supervision and a varied work schedule as required. Attention to detail, basic computer skills (Microsoft Office), and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy of inventory are required.

This individual will offer technical expertise in the area of Mechanical Engineering Design and support for customer development projects and modifications of existing designs of motors and gear motors. Additional areas of focus are permanent magnet motor design, gearboxes, UM design, and gear design.
This individual will offer technical expertise in the area of electrical engineering as it relates to the design/build/test cycle of brushless DC and Universal and AC motors. Coordinate the developments of new design projects and/or modifications of existing designs. Emphasis in UM, AC, BPM, and related control technology.
This position is responsible for building and testing prototype motors and gear reducers, evaluating test data, and assisting engineers in the design of new products.
This individual will support the production scheduling and planning processes through execution and maintenance of shop floor documentation and system operation.
The position will establish the production schedule by allocating monthly production rates into weekly production schedules based on customer needs, within the restrictions of material and capacity availability in a manner that maximizes efficient, economical, and timely operations of the plant.

As our Engineering Manager, you will provide leadership, supervision, development, and monitoring of daily activities for the Design Engineering team to successfully design fractional horsepower electric motor and gearmotor solutions, and support their production in our manufacturing facility. Every day you will provide leadership, supervision, development, and monitoring of activities for a team of 8 Design Engineers, Drafters, and Lab Technicians to successfully design and manufacture fractional horsepower electric motor and gearmotor solutions. You will manage multiple programs by evaluating, prioritizing, delegating, and monitoring the progress of multiple objectives and business strategies. Many projects will require working with customers to define, develop, validate, and launch products to satisfy their application needs. To thrive in this job, you should enjoy being a leader, solving problems, and working in a team. Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, electrical test systems, and manufacturing processes along with a 4-year Engineering degree, or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Set-Up Technician to undertake the responsibility to make tooling changes and machine adjustments on production equipment, perform minor repair and maintenance on manufacturing equipment and perform preventative maintenance on equipment. The ideal candidate will have electrical/electronic experience. Mechanical aptitude is required. Must be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. Skills -Proven experience as a maintenance technician is beneficial -Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems -Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods -Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices -Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills -Good physical condition and strength -High school diploma or equivalent -Electrical/electronic experience is beneficial -Mechanical aptitude is required
Responsible for evaluating manufacturing processes and recommending the effective use of labor, materials, equipment, automation, and physical plant space in an ongoing effort to produce a quality product and reduce the overall cost of manufacturing. Maintain manufacturing support plant-wide requiring specific skills or experience (i.e. PC, PLC, CNC programming, End of Line Test Systems, ISO documentation systems, product routing, and tool crib maintenance).
The position will be responsible for the day to day oversight and leadership of a 5-6 member team that is tasked with the set-up, repair, and preventive maintenance of all equipment and tooling used in the manufacture of H.P. electric motors. This is a hands on position that will require a high level of proficiency in electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and controls. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Also, additional job duties may be assigned. -Supervise, coordinate, schedules and reviews the activities of the Maintenance Technicians. -Authority to plan and direct maintenance activities for all shifts and establish priorities for projects in keeping the effective operations and cost factors. -Develop yearly Maintenance budgets -Oversee the design and build process of dedicated equipment to meet production requirements -Develop yearly Maintenance goals -Consults with production personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products. -Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines within monthly budgets. -Maintain critical spare parts inventory. -Set up and maintain a good preventative maintenance schedule on all equipment. -Maintain compliance with organizational policies and safety hazards. -Actively participate in production and other problem solving meetings. -Exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the hours necessary to perform the job. -Provide necessary, accurate, and timely feedback of all pertinent information to co-workers and management. -Effectively communicate with co-workers and management personnel to enhance teamwork and communication initiatives. -Accept instructions and duties in a positive manner. -Treat all co-workers with dignity and respect. Experience: Eight (8) or more years of Maintenance experience in a Manufacturing environment. You should be proficient in: Troubleshooting machine and control system issues on existing machines and equipment. Must be able to configure, troubleshoot, and demonstrating experience with electrical control circuits, VFD’s, DC drives, analog and digital circuitry, hydraulics, and pneumatics. PLC programming software (RSLogix500, RSLogix5000 studio, Panel Builder, EZ Automation, etc.), HMI design (Panel Builde, EZ Touch, Etc.) and other controls software platforms. Job Type: Full-time
