SIOUX CENTER, IA – On Saturday, June 4, Groschopp participated in Sioux Center’s Summer Celebration parade with their baseball-themed company float. Featuring employees and their families, this float was a patriotic display of balloons, scoreboards, candy buckets, and a pitching machine run by one of Groschopp’s very own motors. For ten blocks, employees tossed candy and other goodies out to the crowd, while both children and adults took turns donning their game faces, gloves, and hand-eye coordination to play catch on the Groschopp float.
Groschopp’s happy birthday wishes and offers of gratitude last for much longer than one trip down a city street, however. With multiple generations of Groschopp employees calling Sioux Center home since 1975, Groschopp’s parade participants wore red t-shirts with the words:
“Proudly made in Sioux Center.”
Groschopp is proud of its Sioux Center roots, employees, and motors alike, and this summer celebration was a tribute to that.
